Project Description
During the Gen-Z Movement on 8–9 September, the Dharmasthali Police Station experienced
significant disturbances, resulting in severe damage to the Balaju Police Post. Consequently, the Balaju Police Post was temporarily relocated to the Dharmasthali Police Station premises. With nearly 200 police personnel residing at the site, only a single pit toilet was available, creating serious sanitation and hygiene challenges. In response to this urgent need, 13 Rotary Clubs under the Rotary Action Group (Presidents 2025/26) collaboratively initiated the construction of a Community Public Toilet at the Dharmasthali Balaju Police Chauki. The project site is located in Ward No. 6, Tarkeshwor Municipality, Dharmasthali, Kathmandu District, Bagmati Province.
The Rotary Action Group (Presidents 2025/26), District 3292 Nepal–Bhutan, spearheaded
the project
